  • How fit do I need to be? 
    For our winter wellness swims all our locations are less than a 5 minute walk to the water however this can often be on uneven ground which can be covered with snow and off track. Individuals need to be able to carry their own swimming bag to and from the location.
  • How cold will it be? 
    The temperature of the water depends on the location, the weather and the time of year. Temperatures range from 15c May to 1c Jan
  • Why do it? 
    Cold water swimming can increase metabolism, improve circulation, reduce stress and enhance mood, and promote better sleep. It can also help your immune system by reducing inflammation and stimulating the production of endorphins
  • Is this for a complete beginner or advance cold water swimmer?
    We welcome all abilities on the Winter programme. All our sessions are designed so you will get support tailored to your level. We will guide you but ensure you remain comfortable with the experience.
  • What should I wear during and  after the swimming?
    For swimming you are welcome to wear what you feel comfortable in - swim suit , full wet suit, swim suit , booties and gloves, swim hat. Afterwards you need easy wearing clothing. 3-4 layers in winter plus Woolly hat, wool socks, gloves and easy slip on shoes / wellies.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
